By Bus
From Stratford – 69*, 241, 262, 273 – alight at the stop opposite Plaistow Underground Station cross at Pedestrian Crossing and follow By Underground directions below.

Towards Stratford – 241, 262, 273 – alight at Plaistow Underground Station walk back 80 yards and follow By Underground directions below.

From Canning Town Bus Station – Bus 69* will travel along Barking Road, turn left into Hermit Road and join Upper Road. Alight at the Bus Stop after the bridge on Upper Road after the Cemetery. Cross over and the Church is a short walk (approximately 1 minute), through the open space.

By underground
Alight at Plaistow Underground Station on the District and Hammersmith & City Lines on exit turn right, walk approximately 80 yards and turn right into Upper Road. The Church is a short walk (approximately 3 minutes), adjacent to the second Bus Stop at 2a Chesterton Terrace.

By Road
From South London via Blackwall Tunnel – exit the Tunnel and take the second turning on the left onto the A13. Continue along the A13 following road signs towards Canning Town. Continue through the main traffic lights following road signs for Canning Town. DO NOT GO OVER THE FLYOVER. At the round-a-about take the second exit onto Barking Road and continue towards the T-Junction – McDonalds will be located on the right of the junction. Turn left into Hermit Road and continue your journey. You will pass a Recreation Ground located on your right and further down a Cemetery located on your left. Continue your journey into Upper Road, past the Pedestrian Crossing on the bridge and Chesterton Terrace is the first turning on your right. This journey should take approximately 10-15 minutes.


From Stratford One-Way Gyratory System – take the exit for West Ham Lane (sharp left after Romford Road exit). Continue past the Police Station on your right and West Ham Park on your left. Continue through the traffic lights towards New Plaistow Road leading into Plaistow Road. Continue along Plaistow Road past the Ford Car Showroom on your right. Plaistow Underground Station will follow shortly on the bridge on your right. After the Underground Station turn right into Upper Road. Chesterton Terrace is the third turning on your left and the Church is located on your right. This journey should take approximately 10 minutes.
